DanceScene provides a calendar of dance competitions, social and strict tempo dances, group classes and dance practices. It includes articles, interviews and photographs contributed by amateur and professional readers who wish to share their knowledge and experience. It is a medium for communications between subscribers, Ontario Amateur Dancesport Association Inc. (O.A.D.A.) members, and the O.A.D.A. and the Canadian Amateur Dancesport Association (C.A.D.A.) executives, offering all subscribers the opportunity to communicate with each other. 

 This magazine originated as the Newsletter for the Ontario Amateur Dancesport Association. Over the years, the Magazine has become Canada's most informative Ballroom Dance Publication. Circulation now covers every Province in Canada except Prince Edward Island and includes the Yukon. The Magazine is also distributed to subscribers in 19 States, namely, California, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvannia, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin. Copies are also sent to Barbados, England, Australia, Ireland, Japan, Switzerland, Spain, Singapore and Italy.
